•What do I get for my Groupon voucher?
The Groupon voucher offers you a choice of 3 portrait sessions to choose from.

► Lifestyle Portrait
As well as the shoot itself each session includes 10 prints, chosen from a selection of 4 images.

• How long have you been established?
Dreghorn Photography was founded in 2008 by myself, Stuart Dreghorn. Surviving a recession and growing in the economic downturn, the company has come to include several associated photographer and assistants and we have our own custom made photography studio just outside Glasgow city centre. For the curious a more detailed story can be found on the information pages.

•What is a viewing?
A viewing is your chance to see the best of the photos from your shoot. It takes place either immediately after the shoot or a few days later, depending on scheduling. We settle you down with a tea or coffee and after a relaxed discussion about the shoot we present a slideshow of the best images from your session using our HD Projector. You can then browse through the pictures at your leisure and decide which ones you would like to buy. If you have any questions then we are happy to answer them.

• Where will the shoot take place?
The shoots will take place in the Dreghorn Photography studio, our comfortable custom built space just outside Glasgow city centre. Details on how to get to the studio can be found by following this link

• What is the difference between a lifestyle shoot and portrait?
A portrait is a relaxed affair, designed to capture the character of the subject in as natural and relaxed a state as possible. Lifestyle shoots are more heavily influenced by fashion in their mood and style and so involve more dramatic lighting and stylised posing. The linked images are good examples of portrait and lifestyle images respectively

•How many people can be in my shoot?
8 is the maximum number of people the studio can fit at one time. If you wish for a larger group photo special arrangements can be made, be sure to inform us of this at the time of your booking.

Sales Questions
•What does the Groupon deal include?
The deal offers each person a choice from one of three portrait packages, as seen on the Groupon page. Each package includes a portrait session and a number of prints, made from a selection of your 4 favourite images
► Four 6″x4″
► Four 9″x6″
► Two 10″x8″

•How many images can I choose for my deal?
You will receive 10 prints, selected from 4 images.
e.g: You select images A,B,C,D for your 6×4. You then select A,A,B,B for your 9×6 and C,D for your 10×8. If you also wish image E it will be charged as an additional print

•What if I want more than 4 images?
You are free to purchase as many additional prints as you wish, these will be charged at the normal rate as detailed in our price list.

•What if I don’t want to buy images on the day?
Every client will be given a password protected online image gallery from which they and their friends & relatives can purchase prints. Please note that some special offers will only be available at the viewing

• Will there be a hard sell?
The most common concern people have about Groupon offers & viewings is the prospect of a hard sell. We don’t believe in forcing you to buy anything you don’t want. Our approach we term the “soft sell”: you are given the product price list ahead of time for your perusal, we then show you the images and chat over a tea, coffee & biscuits to discuss what you would like. There is no forcing or coercion: we have faith that the images will be something you will want in your home.

•Is there somewhere to change?
The studio offers a custom built dressing room designed for privacy and comfort. This is found at the back of the studio room for easy and quick access during a shoot.

• Do you allow animals?
All creatures great and small are welcome, provided they fit through the door. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, whatever animal companion you have we can photograph it.

• Is a make-up artist included in the lifestyle shoot?
A professional make-up artist is not included as standard, however if you wish one can be hired for an additional fee. Please notify us when booking if you require this
