About Stuart

Hello there, on this page you can learn a little bit more about myself; Stuart Dreghorn.

My background was originally in theatre; I studied it at university for my degree as well as regularly engaging in theatre productions in my spare time also. At the time my aim in life was to be a theatre director, a job I would still greatly enjoy were circumstances different.

Concurrently with my love of theatre a love of photography grew due to my involvement with the Glasgow University Photographic Society.  During my time as an office bearer in the society I organised and participated in many photo shoots which sparked my enthusiasm for social photography.

I had long since decided to follow my passions and upon graduating I was faced with two paths: theatre and photography. Given that I graduated in 2008 and the recession started shortly after theatre was immediately ruled out as an already competative industry grew even more so as funds dried up.

Coincidentally at the time I was making this choice I managed to sell a photo simply by attending an event, and with that I realised I could make a living out of photography as well. This has been the path I’ve followed ever since.

I’ve always believed you get the best out of people if you treat them how they deserve to be treated so I’ve built the company on building a friendly, personal service, making clients feel at home and ensuring they get the excellent quality images they desire.
